At Honest Dentistry, we’ve always believed that clear communication is the foundation of good dental care. That shouldn’t stop when you leave our office—it should extend to our website, too. We want every patient to be able to find our location, check our services, or book an appointment without hitting a digital “brick wall.”

What We’re Doing Right Now

Making a website accessible isn’t a one-time setup; it’s an ongoing project. We are currently tuning our site to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. For those visiting us, here is what that looks like in plain English:

  • Easy Reading: We’ve adjusted our colors so that our text doesn’t wash out against the background, making it easier on the eyes.
  • Screen Reader Friendly: We are working through our photo library to add descriptions to our images, so patients using screen readers aren’t left in the dark about what’s on the page.
  • Keyboard Friendly: You should be able to navigate our menu and forms using just a keyboard, which is essential for many of our visitors.

Where We’re Still Improving

Building a perfect website is tough, and we’ll be the first to admit we aren’t 100% there yet. Some of our older patient education videos or third-party scheduling tools might still have some quirks we’re ironed out. If you run into a snag or a button that doesn’t work the way it should, please don’t struggle with it—just let us know.
